Heliopatis

Heliopatis project was started by Ivan Panfilov in 2012. The project also involved Nastya Galashina (vocals) and Vladimir Cap (harp, throat singing). The main idea for writing compositions was the use of ethnic instruments and playing on the contrast of urban landscapes with the harmony of nature. Music practicing of Ivan began with playing on guitar in his childhood, his musical taste was formed by garage and psychedelic rock. Later was a period of noise and experimental music, the endless quest for himself in different styles, and only in 2007 his attention was drawn to the more atmospheric and transparent sound – that was the impetus for the emergence of Heliopatis.
